|Here is a short list of some fabric resources which we will be building on - finding great fabric is always key for the outcome of your project - I hope you find this useful.
In the studio we keep order books with swatches of fine woolens and cashmere from the Italian company Cerruti - there are no minimum order and the fabrics are top quality.
We also have a swatch collection from Jose Marie Ruiz - a Spanish based company which offers couture quality fine dress making fabrics - silks - both basic and print, laces, trims and novelties geared toward dressy evening wear and highend designer sportswear - they do offer some original Chanel pieces as well.
For those of you looking for a local source for your beginner projects here are a couple suggestions. The bulk of the fabrics available in these locations will consist of woven cottons.
